All forms of electric radio control cars are allowed to race at the club aslong as you have interchangable crystals 27mhz/40mhz/2.4ghz.
We race all types of cars, buggies and micro's. If you have any queries select 'contact' on the left panel and send us a quick email.
Unfortunately we cannot cater for nitro/petrol model cars as the track is indoors.

Success is in the making

Well, its been a fortnight now since we opened the doors to you racers, and it seems that those who we've spoken to love the place. We even appear to be developing a regular crowd, which we hope will grow in time.
I was there racing today, and it was great to see yet more new faces, something we see at each meeting. Surely the word is spreading, and that in its self speaks volumes.
Its also great to see people turning up with all kinds of RC car, the 10th touring cars were always likely to be the car of choice, but the 14th Recoils and even the 18th buggies seem to have taken a firm grip. I would also like to sing the praises of the 10th off roaders, but after breaking my own today, I will leave that for someone else to do. Not that the track is to blame, just the half asleep driver behind the sticks (it will be fixed and resurrected very soon).
I also feel it worth mentioning that the tuck shop we are running seems to be a success. The "head chef" has been serving up great toasties on a regular basis, and when washed down with a hot drink of choice you can't go wrong. If toasties aren't your thing, then there are the Pot Noodles too, not to mention all the tuck shop treats you'd expect, and the fridge is full of drinks and chocolate bars.
Now I'm sure there are still people out there that aren't sure about the club, maybe you raced at Phoenix and have been in two minds, but you couldn't be further from the truth. Please feel free and come down sometime, bring a car, it doesn't matter how old, tired and unloved, as long as it moves, we'll give it its chance!

Membership fees are: Full Membership £37, Club Membership (for current BRCA members) £25, BRCA membership £12.
Remember... You can race a maximum of three times before you need to become a (at least) a BRCA member.
